Associate – Innovation and Education Hubs, Travel Retail Worldwide
Associate that is principally responsible for supporting the Travel Retail Worldwide Education and Innovation Hubs. The Travel Retail Innovation Hub is accountable for translating the TREX (travel retail exclusives) growth strategy into project plans to operationalize and optimize the development of TREX for the TRWW brand teams. The Education Hub is responsible for creating cross-brand and brand agnostic education for Travel Retail Worldwide. This Associate role would report to the Executive Directors of both teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
The position interfaces and integrates across internal functions, brands, and regions to ensure that all business objectives are being met within the agreed upon timeline. Key responsibilities for this role include:
Facilitate multi-level, regional meetings through agenda preparation, meeting recording and recapping
Support the governance and oversight of all Innovation Hub initiatives being led by the project leads (e.g., project charters, dashboard maintenance, reporting creation and support)
Review and analyze project data and information to provide status updates
Manage overall eLearning content catalogue for asset updates, product re-launches and discontinuations. Utilize content data reporting to help content team understand overall content consumption data as well as content opportunities
Manage translations budget and process – manage agency, translation verification team, budget estimate and purchase orders process. Process affects all eLearning platform content and retailer project programs
Manage PowerPoint and other asset creation in conjunction with creative agencies
Manage eLearning Content Calendar – ensure that translated content will be ready, when necessary, assist content team to manage creation of seasonal updates
Manage operations for special projects
Organize meeting site, schedules, expenses, lodging, food, and entertainment for multi-level, regional meetings
Manage travel expenses of Innovation Hub Executive Director, Education Hub Executive Director, and Education Hub Vice President.
STRATEGIC ANALYSIS/BUSINESS CASE CREATION:
Collaborate with Executive Director to align on strategies and targets
Support the analysis required to build the business case identified by the Executive Director
Build the presentation decks to support the Executive Director’s direction
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical skills with an understanding of techniques for data analysis, presentation, visual tools (i.e advanced user on Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to distill complex learnings into simple, relevant actions.
Surgical attention to detail and timelines
Excellent organization skills.
Ability to manage multiple project workstreams across multiple teams, team locations
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and execute tasks on short or changing timelines
Enthusiasm for technology that can be used to help improve processes
Ability to distill complex research learnings into simple, relevant actions
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Experience and success working in a cross-functional organization and some understanding of the International market place
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience with an analytic function
Strong interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills to work at all levels of the organization
Strong team mentality. Enthusiasm, growth mindset and desire to work together to achieve department goals
