    Job Description:

    The Associate of Retention Marketing will be a key contributor in planning, executing, and analyzing communication strategies to drive sales on .com, build brand loyalty, and increase customer retention. The Associate will work closely with the rest of the Online team to create content to support all promotional programming, as well as drive engagement with non-promotional programs via email marketing & Loyalty programming. The Associate will also partner closely with North America Marketing, Consumer Engagement and Creative.

    The ideal candidate will have a background in ecommerce and prior experience managing day-to-day execution of email marketing programs and/or loyalty programs. The individual will be detail-oriented, dependable, keen ability to multi-task and a collaborative team player who will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Candidate must be strong with organization and project management as well as data analytics.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own the communications calendar with email vendor and ensure key stakeholders are informed on planned marketing activity, including Customer Service, Consumer Engagement and NA Brand teams
    • Manage email production process:
      • Create email content calendar, outlining scheduled emails, key promotions. Liaison with Site Refresh owner to ensure synergy of content & promotion
      • Work with Ecommerce Manager to develop email creative briefs based on the programming calendar
      • As needed code emails, plan link strategies in the Braze system
      • Provide relevant recommendations and guidance to the Creative team
      • Collect and incorporate feedback during the internal approval process
      • Manage the email process flow: traffic assets, provide segmentation details, QA test emails, and approval for each campaign.
    • Liaison with Assistant Manager on site refreshes as it relates to Email Marketing plans to ensure synergy of email, new program launches and site refreshes.
    • Support on Loyalty/CRM needs: Developing email campaigns & tests to drive CRM and fuel stronger loyalty; Develop KPI tracking/reporting to access performance
    • Partner with Customer Service to share programming, as well as receive insights and customer feedback to help improve the customer experience online.
    • Assess email analytics to increase key KPIs (conversion, open rate, etc) and schedule A/B testing for insights into best creative practices
    • Research and maintain information on competitor programs, industry trends, and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 2-3 years’ experience in direct to consumer ecommerce business, preferably with consumer products, beauty, or retail
    • Experience managing email marketing programs and a strong understanding of email (and broader digital) best practices
    • Strong analytical skills and experience working with email/CRM data
    • Keen attention to detail and passion for quality without compromising deadlines
    • Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing multiple projects and activities simultaneously. Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
    • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various people in a fast-paced environment.

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,500 to $90,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
