  • Responsibilities
    • This is an Associate Scientist position in the Business Continuity Lab. The candidate must be a competent individual contributor who can execute assigned work as well as able to plan own work supporting projects assigned.

    • This position works to solve production issues on existing products, raw material issues affecting products in production as well working on reformulations. In addition, this role assists on risk mitigation, value projects and OTC compliance support as required. The role works closely with the Engineering team within Value Creation and the overall TSO.

    • This person makes batches and follows stability, reviewing concerns with management and seeking out resolutions when needed. 

    • This role prepares documentation leading to batch card release including compliance documentation as required.

    • Supports management in the coordination of complex projects across multiple brands.

    • Performs function with high attention to detail and excellence in execution.

    INDEPENDENCE OF ACTION AND ACCOUNTABILITY – Works independently with minimum supervision to complete projects as assigned. (60%)

    PROBLEM SOLVING – Seeks out resolution to issues with existing products and raw materials (30%)

    DECISION MAKING – Identifies issues that need to be elevated to supervisors (10%)    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum Education level: University Degree (BA or BS) in Chemistry

    • Minimum Years of Experience: 0-2 years 

    • Additional Job Specifications: 0-2 years’ experience in a Cosmetic Formulation Lab working on Treatment, Make Up and Bath Body Products

    • Proficient in Excel, RDS & SAP
