Bumble and bumble – Regional Business Consultant – Chicago, IL
The Regional Business Executive (RBE) is a field sales position responsible for developing sales and relationships with salons and prestige retailers assigned in their territory, as well as developing relationships with new business within their market.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Achieve or exceed the sales goals of assigned territory.
• Deliver exemplary support and drive sales within the Salon and Retail Channel
• Create six month business plans with salon/retail accounts to reach sales goals
• Negotiate terms for placement and increased market share in retail space
• Provide marketing collateral and merchandise products for strong visual representation
• Plan, manage, and participate in Retail and Salon Events as driven by event/launch calendar
• Provide instruction on best practices for service and retail in alignment w/Business Immersion programs
• Manage optimum inventory levels at accounts with a comprehensive consulting approach
• Create plans for attendance at Bumble and bumble University for owners, managers, and stylists
• Develop the role of the Network Educator in salons, and support their education initiatives
• Support sales through Bumble and bumble Education
• Plan and execute education within salons and retailer’s business as established by the corporate guidelines
• New product launches and re-promotes
• Promote and facilitate attendance at Bumble and bumble University for owners, managers, and stylists
• Develop the role of the Network Educator in salons, and support their education initiatives, Manage the Bumble.LIVE program
• Plan for as part of Business Building program
• Facilitate in-salon/In-store events with Educator
• Schedule and facilitate regional events to draw multiple accounts
• Achieve a high level of performance (100% and above) in new business development within assigned territory
• Work with the New Business Team to cultivate and drive quality leads and prospects to opening order
• Maintain a weekly prospect report highlighted with current weeks activities and next steps
• Set up, launch, and grow the new business from the opening order forward
• Work independently from a home office, while managing a consistent meeting calendar with accounts
• Meet once per month (minimum) with Tiers 1 & 2 and every 6-8 weeks with Tier 3 & 4
• Schedule one office day per week.
• Use Bb Relationship Management software to maximize effectiveness
• Manage 90-day calendar and enter salon activities in advance
• Log all activities and salon meeting notes weekly.
• Manage business development budgets
• Car stock budgets for promotional and merchandising activities
• Business Building program budgets with accounts
Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in relationship based sales in the salon and/or retail industry, US Salon business model and hair care category preferred
• Outside sales salon industry experience a plus
• Effective communicator and highly collaborative with internal and external stakeholders; natural connector
• Proven ability to drive sales, build relationships and excel in new business development
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and general comfort with new programs
Anticipated Hourly Range $68,000 to $102,000 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget).
