• Support Communications team in planning and executing strategies, product launches, events, press and digital activations that are aligned with the overall business objectives • Promote the brand and its products by generating editorial coverage across all forms of media, with a strong focus on digital • Develop and manage influencer marketing activations from start to finish • Maintain project budgets • Be the key contact for Clinique’s charity Kiss it Better
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Support Communications team in planning and executing strategies, product launches, events, press and digital activations that are aligned with the overall business objectives • Oversee event planning and organisation and manage critical timings and roles and responsibilities • Negotiate with suppliers to support the needs of the press office • Work with all functions to ensure 360-degree launches that are strategically aligned across brand teams • Coach and develop Communications Assistant
PROMOTE THE BRAND AND ITS PRODUCTS BY GENERATING EDITORIAL COVERAGE ACROSS ALL FORMS OF MEDIA WITH AN OVERALL OBJECTIVE TO DRIVE EMV
• Work with team to pitch story and creative content ideas to press and influencers to drive EMV and share of voice • Foster and manage relationships with editors, influencers and makeup artists • Schedule regular meetings with key media and influencers • Consistently deliver on media coverage, influencer engagement and content goals that build equity and awareness for the brand • Seek trend-led opportunities driving earned media and relevancy for the brand • Identify disruptive opportunities to partner with relevant influencers and like-minded brands • Work closely with the commercial teams to build retailer and pure player relationships, develop, and execute plans to boost retailer moments • Use corporate tools (Tribe Dynamics & Launch Metrics) to strategical seek ways in which to drive EMV + MIV across all categories (Makeup, Fragrance & Skincare)
DEVELOP AND MANAGE INFLUENCER MARKETING ACTIVATIONS FROM START TO FINISH
• Research and approach appropriate influencers to be part of key campaigns • Work with digital team and media agency to leverage influencer content across paid media to maximize results • Work with the Consumer Engagement team to drive Influencer affiliate program • Support Senior Communications Manager in execution of key social selling activations on social channels identifying key talent to drive brand credibility • Pull together content briefs and negotiate on costs and contracts • Pull together the post analysis report considering key business KPI’s
GENERAL
• Maintain project budgets • Create and maintain a balanced budget for special projects and events • Act as main point of contact for media and influencer monitoring agencies oversee the results reporting process • Develop event recaps to share with global teams and executives • Manage Hot Off the Press coverage announcements to internal executives • Present at brand conferences and press / influencer events as necessary • Prepare efficient agendas for weekly department status meetings and point of difference
QUALIFICATIONS
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have at least 4+ years PR/Communications experience • Strong and established Influencer and media relationships • Exemplary capabilities within the digital and social media beauty landscape • Creative but also results-driven • Highly organised and have extreme attention to detail • An enthusiastic team player • Agile and adaptable • Ability to prioritise a busy workload • Proactivity • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written • Experience in event or launch planning • Strong presentations skills • Should demonstrate a passion for the cosmetic business and in particular, understand Clinique’s philosophy
