    JOB SUMMARY

    The Product Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Product Development team by organizing, updating, and upkeeping documents, products, and filing systems. They will assist various team members on product development and reformulations. This individual must be innovative and creative with a keen awareness of global color and industry trends

    This position is based in Too Faced Corporate Headquarters located in Irvine, CA.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The Product Development Coordinator will track, organize and manage all product samples, FedEx shipments, benchmarks, submissions, production standards, shade standards (both internal and vendor standards), competitive samples, etc.

    • Ensure standards are updated according to schedule with quality assurance and contract manufacturers

    • Review incoming color batches and work closely with PD Team to help build shade matching skills and color eye.

    • Participate in the evaluation and direction of shade and formula submissions from lab to production with the PD team and provide detailed color and texture feedback to vendors.

    • Assists Product Development Team with routing submissions for evaluation internally and gather/report feedback to inform product redirect or approvals

    • Assist Product Development team with specific market research, ingredient search, specific market analysis research, competitor's product assessment and pricing.

    • Assist PD management on weekly product development meeting and record detailed information on product related task.

    • Track & take notes in all meetings for internal & external team alignment and reference

    • Assist team with pulling and purchasing shades prototypes and lineups for programs

    • Organize all products in assigned boxes by category in the retains closet

    • Label, separate and organize master bins and cabinets with new projects to prep for incoming project retains and batch submissions

    QUALIFICATIONS

    DESIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 1+ year color cosmetics product development or similar experience

    • Passionate about the beauty industry

    • Advanced level in Microsoft business programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    • Must be detailed oriented.

    • Must feel comfortable being driven by deadlines with a high sense of urgency.

    • Ability to execute under accelerated timeframes and quickly adapts to change in priorities

    • Proven ability to take complicated information and summarize the key messages for a variety of audiences

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional interpersonal skills
