  • Responsibilities

    This position is responsible to lead the brand's operational needs to deliver Supply Chain objectives related to Quality, Customer Service, Cost and Inventory. This position provides high touch, single point of accountability to guide and support the Clinique Brand through the execution of project management milestones related to overall business continuity and repackaging initiatives.  Position is responsible to liaise with the Commercial and Value Chain teams including Global Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Packaging, EDM, Artwork and Compliance teams to achieve the stated business objectives . This position will also be required to demonstrate the ability to proactively seek out opportunities to identify and implement mitigation strategies and process improvements to address potential impacts to sales, inventory, and obsolescence/destructions.  Required to provide regular updates and escalations to senior Brand and Supply Chain leadership related to business initiatives.  Position will also provide leadership and guidance to both matrix and indirect reports, building Supply Chain capabilities that satisfy market needs while driving resolution of issues with various functions.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • End to End Project Management Leader including all scoping and coordination with all other change initiatives under way (VRO, savings, agility transfers etc.) as well as synchronizing work with the Promotional calendar. 

    • Liaison with NPL, Global Marketing, and R&D/Regulatory teams requiring regularly scheduled meetings as primary point of contact for various business continuity initiatives to determine scope and provide direction/data enabling efficient communication flow.  Engage with and provide guidance in collaboration with all stakeholders in the resolution of issues, as required.  Define and implement improved processes enabling greater capability respective of the project management of Business Continuity objectives.

    • Execution of Project, including direct communication with all key stakeholders (Pkg, Pkg Ops, EDM, R&D, PD).  Tracking of key milestones, identifying gates and ensuring timeline adherence/negotiation of downstream tasks for timely delivery (supporting service/cost/inventory-cash)

    • Communication point person to Global Business Leaders with regard to Brand service performance, future service projections, risk and risk mitigation strategies/status. Engage with and guide Regional Supply Planning in the resolution of issues, as required. Define and implement improved processes for integration of supply chain performance into SIOP/IIT process. Accountable for monthly coordination of SIOP and IIT materials, chairing IIT connects.

    • Develop and provide high level performance dashboards for various initiatives to executive management review enabling a strategic response when required.  Ensure that business risks (both short term and long term) are identified, translated into Brand impacts and effectively communicated to the appropriate Global/Regional stakeholders to support strategic decision making by partnering with Global and Regional supply chain key players.

     

    Additional Job Specifications

    • Ability to drive business results on a global scale, applying a deep knowledge of regional relevance and market requirements

    • Deep knowledge of the consumer package industry and beauty competitive landscape, and distribution channel management

    • Understanding of regional/market regulatory requirements for the industry to ensure all end-to-end supply needs are compliant -  Demonstrated project management capabilities and strong communications skills to clearly articulate Brand needs to Supply Chain, and Supply Chain needs/capabilities to Brands

    • Able to manage multiple and complex priorities across numerous brands and geographies, using an innovative approach to resolve issues

    • Solid financial acumen to understand drivers of profitability and set priorities to manage cost and optimize value

    • Recognized collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to build strong relationships across the Brand, Regional and Functional teams

    • Highly developed leadership skills with ability to lead large, geographically-dispersed teams, lead effectively in a matrix environment, and develop/retain top talent and earn leadership respect throughout the organization.

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,500 to $195,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
