Director, Category GSR Packaging PMO
The Director, Category GSR PMO is responsible for leading the overall delivery and execution of projects. Meeting all project milestones, deliverables, launch-dates, etc. Managing and ensuring all risks / issues are communicated to stakeholders with clear ownership and resolution plan. Sense of urgency and ability to work under constricted timelines is critical for the success of this role. The right candidate needs to be self-motivated, agile, and driven.
Qualifications: • Proven Leadership and Decision-Making capabilities. Utilizes facts effectively for presentation to decision makers. • Strong team building skills and ability to foster productive relationships • Experience with stakeholder engagement and managing effective relationships • High organization skills, ability to manage multiple deliverables at once, remain flexible in fast-paced work environment • Executional orientation – strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to get things done • Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams, collaborating with Packaging, Planning, Brand, and Commercial stakeholders
Primary Responsibilities: • Lead projects from conception to execution supporting multiple Procurement KPI’s, including Supply Continuity, Savings, Sustainability, Quality, and Agility. • Lead and facilitate project meetings including kick-off, team meetings, risk assessment, lessons learned, post launch reviews, and others as needed. • Communicate project progress, including project plan, timeline, challenges, etc., to business stakeholders. • Map, align, and issue project timelines and progress reports that support business goals. • Assess, anticipate, and communicate project risks and opportunities across departments and stakeholders. • Troubleshoot problems and challenges, know when to escalate as needed to keep project moving. • Drive governance to ensure prioritization of initiatives across critical and urgent business deliverables. • Hold teams accountable for the delivery of commitments, escalate issues as needed • Manage the risks and issues that can arise during the course project life cycle, take proactive and decisive measures to course correct as needed • Communicate, influence, and negotiate across the organization to drive critical Procurement agenda • Identify project resources requirements and escalate constraints • Facilitate cross-functional dialogue as required and formalize relevant communication process.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree • 10 years experience in Supply Chain • Analytical, organized, disciplined, resourceful, proactive, and execution oriented • The position requires strong project management skills • Customer-centric with ability to drive alignment across teams and business leaders, effectively influence • Self-driven, independent thinker, not afraid to challenge the status-quo • Fast learner, flexible, able to manage complex matrixed network of Brands and Functions • Ability and agility to shift between strategic and the tactical
