  • Responsibilities

    Responsible for the development and execution of programs for Estée Lauder within Travel Retail Worldwide. Drive Product Marketing strategies, manage the Travel Retail Exclusives programs and the launch of all products. These programs should align with the Strategies set by the head of marketing which will enhance brand equity, improve market share, ensure brand objectives are realized and financial targets achieved for the Estée Lauder Brand. This position partners closely with Travel Retail regional teams based in Singapore, London and Miami, as well as the Travel Retail functional teams (Demand Planning, Distribution, Finance, Merchandising, Integrated Marketing) and Global Brand teams (Marketing, Retail, Digital, Planning/Operations, Creative). Reports to the Travel Retail Worldwide Skincare Executive Director. # ELCTravelRetail

    TRAVEL EXCLUSIVES

    • Redefine and oversee the Travel Exclusive strategy in the channel
    • Drive Kit performance and provide feedback on action items and next steps based on monthly analysis and regional performance feedback
    • Support the achievement of sales targets in TREX
    • Global point of contact on Kit development and provide shade recommendations based on performance and key pax mix
    • Develop kits speaking to Consumer shopping habits
    • Maintain quarterly program updates and progress reports with Global Product Marketing
    • Co-drive the execution of a Travel Exclusive Franchise in the channel
    • Support creative execution of TREX including but not limited to:
    • Packaging innovations & optimization
    • Photography and layouts in conjunction with the Creative Ops Lead
    • Support the iHub partnership as the key point of contact
    • Weekly meeting participation
    • Quarterly performance updates
    • Develop TREX for the channel in partnership with iHub leveraging late stage printing
    • Operationalize with excellence all TREX developments (both with Global and locally-developed sets). Act as point person for cross-functional teams to anticipate, identify and seek resolution of developmental and operations issues which may arise

    MARKETING STRATEGY / PERFORMANCE

    • Develop Marketing launch strategy based on channel corridors, seasonality and historical performance
    • Develop and define key metrics on a monthly basis to speak to performance at a regional and WW level
    • Track all product launches and manage sell thru performance
    • Lead communication and execution of programs with the Regional teams
    • Lead reporting to regions on ongoing status of TREX NPL for transparency and accountability
    • Maintain a forward 2-year Marketing Calendar with dollarized programs to anniversary programs and drive incremental sales
    • Lead communication of program and product strategy to Global Product Marketing
    • Support the Manager of Creative Ops with the visualization calendar and support Regional execution

    CATEGORY & SKU MANAGEMENT

    • Redefine the Assortment Strategy in the channel with a constant forward-thinking mentality
    • Lead line edit analysis 2x year
    • Key Point of contact on Global calls and resource to Global Product Marketing Team (i.e. NPL)
    • Oversee 4 lineups within the channel with support of the Marketing Associate (inclusive of China and Caribbean-specific)
    • Lead the execution of monthly assortment reviews with Lachen to review basic business/phase outs
    • Lead sample assortment for Skincare TREX use (defining and managing sample portfolio with Global Business Supply Chain and iHub)
    • Monitor performance of key consumer pax mix, with a focus on China and Korea, to ensure TR is aligned on top performers and Hero skus
    • Analyze and provide recommendations on channel Hero Strategy YOY
    • Lead monthly category reviews to align on newness, basic business performance, opportunities and trends with VM, DP and Consumer Marketing
    • Co-drive future forecasts for basic and LL programs, making recommendations for new and existing products based on analysis
    • Manage and determine action plan for all excess and existing inventory in Lachen
    • Lead the execution of monthly Lachen calls as a key point of contact; new launches, sampling, collateral, stagnant inventory
    • Oversee all excess submissions and assortment submissions as requested
    • Develop and manage Lachen inventory with Marketing Associate monthly

    DEVELOP TALENT & CAPABILITIES

    • Coach and lead team to execute with excellence and motivate with strong team leadership
    • Ensure clear development plans YOY with key project ownership defined at the start of each FY
    • Position manages Marketing Associate

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of marketing and operational experience
    • Strong product/promotional development and project management skills with sense of follow-through
    • Ability and maturity to manage a multitude of projects in a fast-paced environment
    • Intuitive and Agile Learner, with solution-oriented mind set
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Comfortable presenting / have experience in group speaking
    • Creative thinker and team player
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with strong analytical skills
    • SAP Knowledge a plus

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $202,100. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
