The GVC mission is to Maximize Value Creation. The GVC enables horizontal transformational projects and ongoing initiatives that help brands and affiliates accelerate sales growth, reduce costs, working capital and build new capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR, GVC:
Enable GVC Projects/Initiatives within areas assigned
The Director GVC is accountable for the Business Partnership, Project Management and results of assigned GVC Projects / Initiatives
The Director partners with the relevant stakeholders on each Project/Initiative (such as the Project Owner, Project Manager) to agree and align on the business case, implementation plan, resource requirements and relevant KPIs
The Director enables and influences effective project management, value creation metrics and effective and sustainable implementation
Support GVC governance:
Support the VP, GVC to prepare and lead the Global Value Council, the GVC governing body, that is a sub-set of the Company’s Leadership Team; the GVC team organizes the meeting calendar, agenda, drives action item reviews, aligns key stakeholders and ensures proper communication Every 6 months, complete Project Management Effectiveness and Project Manager for each GVC Project assigned, and recommend actions to the Project’s Executive Business Owner
Value Discovery:
Performance Measurement and Management:
Influence decision making of project owners to deliver projects against target KPIs
Support VP, GVC to measure the key Value Creation performances across each BU
Drive and enable performance management with gap-closing recommendations
Organization:
The role reports to the VP, GVC. No direct reports QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIREMENTS:
MBA preferred
Advanced business knowledge and experience in Sales & Marketing, Operations, Strategy and Financial Planning and Analysis in a matrixed work environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high interpersonal & learning agility
Excellent executive communication skills to influence decision making
