    Position Summary:

    The Regional Operations Excellence Lead will drive partnerships with plant leadership, global operational excellence network and regional leadership to actively co create and implement global operational excellence programs in support of company’s goals and objectives. The role builds Operational Excellence capabilities and provides coaching and expertise on the global operational excellence program increasing overall organization competencies.

    The day-to-day job will include (not limited to):

    • Design and executes the Operational Excellence Regional Roadmap

    • Standardize and harmonize Operational Excellence program Management process, methodology, tools, training, and reporting across the region

    • Supports and contribute to annual KPI definition and supporting key initiatives (inclusive of productivity Operational Excellence projects)

    • Contributes in transforming the regional culture to a high performance culture through an effective leadership and communication across the organization.

    • Actively train and coach the manufacturing community on Operational Excellence best practices

    • Manage the value creation and buy-in at all levels of the organization driving company’s major Operational Excellence based transformation programs and projects.

    The candidate will leverage the global operational excellence model, continuous improvement tools and techniques to achieve the overall strategy, objectives, and related performance metrics.

    Job Description:

    • Deliver Operational Excellence by assisting in the development and deployment of the Operational Excellence Strategy

    • Review regional plant capabilities (e.g., technology, systems, quality, cost, efficiencies, yield, Warehousing) in order to recommend process improvements

    • Enable productivity and cost reduction initiatives, in a structured sustainable way, that simplifies business processes while achieving challenging targets.

    • Through active participation and shop floor engagement, support proactive performance management and the daily monitoring of KPIs.  Support weekly and monthly performance monitoring, analysis and reporting.

    • Support Engineering teams and Manufacturing Leadership in the development of Strategic investment plans through direct participation in risk mitigation efforts for capacity and capability gaps as well as, interaction with site-based Commercialization teams, Innovation Engineering teams, and Central Engineering Excellence resources.

    • Ensure the sharing and driving of best practices and lessons learned (internal / external).  Leverage use of global communication platforms to fill the pipeline with new ideas and best practices, as well as providing the supply chain network with local CI success stories and initiatives. Lead, teach, and coach associates at all levels on Lean Manufacturing processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    University Degree (or equivalent experience) in business, engineering, or scientific equivalent

    5+ years in Continuous improvement (Lean, Total Productive Management, and 6 sigma), from leading companies in CI.

    50% Travel Time

    • Mastery in Operational Excellence best in class practices (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma…)

    • Core manufacturing experience (ideally on a fast-paced environment)

    • Proven track record in deployment and management of multi-faceted programs/organizations/operations in broad scale

    •  Experience in developing and deploying strategic plans & associated change management activities
