    .This position will lead, deliver, and support enterprise wide value creation projects encompassing cost, agility, sustainability, and business continuity initiatives utilizing data analytics and proven methodologies, (Ideation workshops, Lean/CI, and Project Management) to drive efficient value delivery. Build market share and competitive advantage by driving leading edge capability in Packaging and ensuring EDGE in technical execution across all activities, drive robust collaboration across the E2E Engineering Group, Supply Chain, R&D, and Brands

    • Lead global projects in cross functional teams to execute value realization opportunities and deliver on set annual targets for assigned projects
    • Search new applicable technologies both within and outside our industry in order to continuously evaluate best practice and support product innovation
    • Drive value realization by researching concepts for new technologies and/or new ways to apply existing technologies. Build business case for moving forward with technologies by working closely with a cross function team with input from Brands.
    • Independently leverage predictive analytics, CI, Project Management approaches (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, CAD, automation, robotics) in order to effectively and independently develop and drive key initiatives, and effectively form, lead, and influence project teams to get to desired outcome.
    • Provide comprehensive feasibility of each concept or package that defines function, manufacturability, component cost, tooling estimates, preliminary development lead time, risk and global consistency
    • Develop successful collaboration with key stakeholders outside engineering, in order to appropriately inform, influence, and execute on projects. Key stakeholders include brand marketing leadership, internal plant teams, QA, Procurement, Packaging up to VP level
    • Ensure component production and filling/assembly are operating efficiently at optimal rate of production
    • Ensure all projects are completed and meet the intended design, quality, cost, risk, sustainability, functionality, and manufacturability objectives and “is it Estee Lauder”

    Qualifications

    • Technical competency in analysis of geometric objects in 2 and 3 dimensions including understanding of clearances, fit and finish of packaging components and subcomponents.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of materials used in the construction and manufacturing of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging including knowledge of decorating techniques and materials used on primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of test methods used to validate component/package performance
    • Must be able to adapt to change and integrate the changes into various moving parts to deliver a quality product in a timely manner.
    • Preferred Degree: Mechanical / Package/ Industrial/ Chemical Eng.

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $202,100. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
