    The Strategic Marketing Initiatives and Community team is part of the Enterprise Marketing & Data (EM&D) organization and supports the delivery of EM&D’s vision through enabling Marketing talent with best-in-class learning and development, processes, operating model/structure and corporate tools/frameworks to mobilize excellence in execution.

    Marketing Upskilling in particular is a key priority for the organization. Our ambition is to create and leverage world-class Marketing Training Programs that attract and incubate Top Talent to fuel long term growth. Some of the training programs in the pipeline include topics as seminal as Brand Equity, Brand Strategy, Conceptual Storytelling and Data & Analytics.

    The Director, Strategic Marketing Initiatives & Community will play a leadership role across various initiatives related to Marketing Talent Development and will liaise with different sub-teams with EM&D, Corporate Strategy and Transformation teams as well as with Brands, Regions and Functions.

    Some of the key priorities this individual will drive include:

    • Stewarding the Marketing Capability Building and Transformation agenda  

    • Managing content and agenda for the Global Marketing Council, a consortium of senior Global and Regional Marketing Leaders -chaired by Jane Lauder- leveraging this forum to solicit and sanity-check various strategic interventions, including but not limited to trainings

    • Developing an ELC point-of-view on various strategic interventions requested by the Marketing Council, including areas such as process interventions, org. structure, or analytics

    • Defining a Vision, Roadmap, and Calendar for Marketing Training Programs, aligned to EM&D and business priorities and in sync with Senior Leadership feedback

    • Building out training strategy and content thesis, leveraging both internal and external experts and thought leaders to refine and flesh out content

    • Supplementing training and capability enablement through developing ELC-ownable corporate toolkits and frameworks, and leading Brand-specific workshops to embed new ways of working

    • Identifying insights and best practices in various topical areas and driving opportunities to cross-fertilize learnings across Brands

    • Orchestrating evolutions in marketing capabilities and processes resulting from various EM&D workstreams to enable seamless employee-facing change management

    • Day to day Marketing Training budget management

    • Developing executive level presentations and communications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The ideal candidate has:

    • Experience in strategy consulting with a passion for driving change

    • Experience handling multiple stakeholders and functions across a large organization

    • Analytical thinking

    • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, executive communication, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and regional partners.  

    • Strong presentation/PowerPoint skills

    • Ability to work in fast paced environment

    • Background in Marketing a plus, but not mandatory
