    POSITION SUMMARY

    As part of the Consumer Engagement team and reporting to the Digital & Social Media Assistant Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will help drive and implement paid social media & digital marketing strategy across local channels, to recruit new, optimise retention and drive sales with a full funnel and phased approach, leveraging innovative digital strategies that embrace cutting edge technology, data and creativity.

     

    The successful candidate needs to be experienced in paid social, programmatic and display and have an extensive understanding of platforms and biddable tools: Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Google.

    We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded digital marketer with a passion for innovation and the beauty industry. Strong communication skills are essential.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    OMNI-CHANNEL CONSUMER JOURNEY STRATEGY

    • Help drive and execute the digital strategy with Digital & Social Media Assistant Manager, to increase the brand’s digital presence, driving consumer acquisition and to deepen brand engagement and loyalty.
    • Identify and utilise consumer data insights & online behaviour to make informed communications choices and help formulate strategies that utilise the best targeting and tracking technology available.
    • Work with CE team to understand, support and enhance the consumer journey across all touchpoints and help define content needs. Work closely with the CRM coordinator to utilise consumer insights to inform audience creation and best targeting strategies.
    • Be an ambassador for digital excellence in the brand.

    CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT & EXECUTION

    • Assist with the launch, management and optimisation of digital marketing programs, namely display, online video and search. Support on all paid social ads creation, approval and monitoring.
    • Assist with briefing of required campaigns into the media agency and, take a lead on briefing our internal creative agency on assets.
    • Support the Social & Digital Media Assistant Manager with the response to brief, proposal approval and development.
    • Support the Social & Digital Media Assistant Manager with campaign implementation and execution.
    • Drive creativity and innovation for best-in-class customer focussed communications.
    • Identify opportunities across all digital channels to drive consumer engagement for both retention and acquisition.
    • Manage tools including Google Analytics and work closely with CRM Team to cascade key findings and recommendations to teams.
    • Leads asset management and asset management tools internally and externally.
    • Manage product feed within Facebook catalogue (via Feed Hero) to ensure it contains accurate and up-to-date assortment
    • Raise POs for creative/media agencies and any FOCs required for campaign activations and work with managers to ensure cost centre reflects latest budget spends

    REPORTING/DATA

    • Implement monthly and weekly tracking and KPI’s for all digital & always on activity so all programs are accountable, measurable and regularly optimised.
    • Continually analyse performance to improve ROI and brand favourability.
    • Regularly share updates with the wider team on campaign successes, digital marketing innovations and trends, the media landscape and consumer insights.
    • Leverage Google Analytics, Datorama, Facebook Native insights and agency reports to provide recommendations to adjust campaigns as necessary.
    • Track competitors results and contribute to the competitive analysis report, working alongside the Digital & Social Assistant Manager and the Product Manager to define best practices within the Digital Marketing field including key competitors and brands in and out of the beauty industry.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

    • Strong digital knowledge.
    • Experience in global brands and / or in digital media agencies preferable.
    • 1+ years’ experience of driving and implementing successful & innovative digital strategies.
    • Degree level candidate required.
    • Understanding of data tools, tech innovation and digital trends
    • Have an extensive understanding of the owned, bought and earned digital media ecosystem;
    • Paid media planning and implementation experience;
    • Be collaborative and challenges for innovation, both with platform partners and third parties;
    • Creative asset editing within Adobe Creative Cloud (nice to have)
    • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Access or equivalent
    • Excellent understanding & experience of brand identity, tone of voice and how to communicate with the consumer.
    • Experience in successfully management creative / media agency relationships preferable.
