Position Summary:
Entry level QA position for the performance of analytical testing ot assure raw materials, mass (batched product) and finished goods meet established specificaitons.

Qualifications
Skills/Specific experience required:
Candidate must have college level chemistry and academic laboratory experience, or, a minimum of 6 months professional lab experience which included pH measurment, specific gravity/density determinations, viscosity determinations, titrations, and/or similar testing. Must be familiar with Good Laboratory Practices. Must be attentive to detail and follow established policies and procedures. Prior experience in the use of FT/IR, UV-VIS and GC helpful. Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills required. Must work well within a team framework. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Position requires self-motivated individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have excellent time management skills and be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
Additional Requirements:
Normal color vision required. Normal sense of smell required. Ability to stand for up to 7 hours per shift. Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted. No known or significant allegy or sensitivity to chemicals/raw materials used in the manufacture or testing of personal care products. Will be expected to apply product to skin for odor and appearance evaluation. Candidate must be flexible in their work schedule. They would be expected to work overtime to service production on at least a monthly basis, and at other times as business demands require.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $18.75 to $32.75/hr. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
