The Melville Manufacturing Area Manager position leads a shift of non-exempt employees through the daily operations and processes found in the manufacturing environment. This role will meet pre-established schedules by fostering employee involvement to achieve the highest level of safety, productivity and quality standards. Area Managers are accountable for leading, training, coaching and motivating a team to improve safety and quality, reduce cost, and deliver the highest level of customer service. They are responsible for maximizing direct labor efficiency and controlling material usage.
