  • Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Manager of Consumer Marketing for Clinique, NA will be responsible for overseeing all advertising plans in partnership with Clinique retail partners – including digital advertising, paid social, video, print, and direct mail. He/She will work closely with the North America Account Management teams and Retailers to create assets, plan budgets and report on results. In this role, he/she will work closely with the NA Trade Marketing teas and Retailers to create programs that are driving the business during key selling periods. As part of the Consumer Engagement team – this person will be a part of the seamless consumer communications messaging from PR/Influencer Marketing, Brand Advertising, and social media.

    KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    STRATEGY

    • Serve as media expert and provide investment guidance to retailers and retailer account management representatives.

    • Develop deep understanding of retailer partners (core consumers, key priority products, key audience segments, etc.) through close partnership with retailer account leads.

    • Partner with retailers, trade marketing and promo leads to understand key launch, promotion and selling periods.

    • Partner with ED to understand national US investment strategy/priorities, assist in cascade to account management team as means to provide visibility.

    • Develop go to market media strategies for retailer partners based on individual goals/objectives.

    EXECUTION

    • Lead briefing of retailer focused campaigns with media agency partners.

    • Execute paid media (social, video, display, audio, etc.) campaigns and sampling campaigns in accordance with agreed upon strategy.

    • Partner with media agency to uncover and execute optimizations within in-market campaigns.

    • Share launch updates (i.e., live links, screenshots, etc.) with retailers and account management representatives.

    • Partner with Clinique Global Communication to secure organic social coverage of key retailer promotions.

    • Manage creative editing for retailer advertising programs.

    • Assist with direct mail retailer programming.

    • Report back real time learnings for optimizations.

    MEASUREMENT

    • Define primary and secondary KPI’s for all media campaigns.

    • Partner with media agency to curate wrap reporting for paid media initiatives.

    • Deploy learnings to internal (leadership, retailer account management leads, trade marketing, etc.). and external (retailer partners) stakeholders.

    • Leverage learnings to influence go forward strategic plans/media campaign executions.

    FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

    • Manage retailer media investment tracking documents.

    • Curate budget roll ups outlining various views (Year over year, quarter over quarter, etc. views).

    JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • College Degree, Digital Marketing, social media, Advertising, Reporting, some travel required.

    • Travel Time:10%

    • Required Language Proficiency: English
