Principle objective:
To act at the education ambassador for Dr.Jart+ North America—creating the tools, content, events and experiences to educate and inspire all Dr.Jart+ audiences including the Dr.Jart+ Field team, the Sephora Beauty Advisor Community and Dr.Jart+ consumers and social media followers. This role will be the face of education at Dr.Jart+ creating content for all these audiences, engaging the Dr.Jart+ skincare community and building a network and relationships to fuel growth in North America.
This is a multi-faceted role that bridges the worlds of education strategy, event and consumer engagement tactics and social media. The success of this role will be measured by both achieving or exceeding the company sales plan (especially at consumer facing events) and through social engagement and EMV.
Accountabilities
1.) Education Strategy
- Create North America education strategy leveraging global toolkit and edit as needed for regional nuances.
- Create content for Sephora Daily Dose Program and operate as the main point of contact for the Brand with Sephora Education department.
- Facilitate product knowledge training to Field Sales & Operations Executive and partner to cascade to the field and freelance teams.
- Work in partnership with Field Sales & Operations Executive on development of “train-the-trainer” tools to help the field deliver successful education visits and support new store opening trainings.
- Act as education partner expert for internal Dr.Jart+ team, external retailers and brand.com partners.
- Present special event programs to internal teams and retailers when appropriate.
- Pilot new concepts and ideas and identify key learnings and opportunities.
2.) Education & Ambassadorship in the Social Community
- Partner with the social media team to develop education content for our social media audience across platforms—include IG and TikTok live activations and demonstrations around new launches and hero products.
- Manage all Sephora Squad influencer campaigns. Nurture relationships with the Sephora Squad, ideating on ways to activate that community and build brand love among these key opinion leaders.
- Own influenster seeding program—develop product overviews, manage inventory delivery and track and share out influenster content and engage with creators.
- Partner with the Dr.Jart+ social media team to cultivate relationships with influencers and creators in the beauty space—especially those interested in the science and ingredient aspect of derma-skincare. Manage a roster of Dermtoks and Estheticians who are Dr.Jart+ enthusiasts to bolster our position in the social skincare conversation and drive EMV for the brand.
- Ideate with the brand.com team to strategize and enhance digital selling on their platform. Create content as needed for p-page selling support.
- Support campaign briefing for social around key launch moments—present products and key attributes to creator partners and ideate on content angles and fresh ideas.
3.) In Store Eventing Strategy
- Develop in store event strategy including the concept and development of all event marketing materials, strategy for product demonstration and GWP strategy to drive sales. Partner with the Field Sales and Operations Executive to cascade to field teams and ensure excellence in execution.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Commercial teams to align event strategies with key launches, categories and objectives of both the brand and the retailer.
- Manage assigned budget line responsibly. Complete monthly expenses in a timely and consistent manner.
- Partner with Field Sales and Operations Executive and Field team to drive succesful events, evaluate results, and adjust accordingly in order to achieve and/or exceed sales plan.
- Partner with the Field Sales and Operations Executive to plan, manage and update event trackers on a regular basis for all brands.
- Provide feedback on competition to share with marketing, education and pr teams.
4.) Large Scale Brand Event Management & Participation
- Support large scale brand events including retailer brand summits, consumer facing retail events (e.g., Sephoria) or consumer-facing launch events and pop-ups—create timelines and ensure partners are clear on roles/responsibilities and deliverables.
- Act as brand ambassador and education expert at brand events and engage with Dr.Jart+ community of creators and build relationships based on skincare enthusiasm and love for the brand.
- Partner with commercial leads for brand summit opportunities and execution
Qualifications
- Candidate should have 5-7 years of relevant experience in beauty both developing and presenting education material and engaging different audiences in product knowledge and beauty education.
- Candidate must have strong communication, leadership and education/facilitation skills, both in-person and virtual.
- Candidate must be a strong content creator, fluent in social media platforms and have a strong point of view on what compelling content looks like on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and partner across teams in different capacities—this role will partner closely with the marketing, social and commercial teams.
- Social native with a passion for relationship building in the beauty/social landscape
- Excellent presentation skills
- Self starter who take initiative and does not require micro-management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
