    Description

    The Estee Lauder Companies’ multi-billion dollar Global Online business is looking for a highly analytical and forward-looking Manager of Global Online Finance & Strategy to support strategic financial planning and analysis of one of the company’s most significant growth channels. This includes managing global ecommerce business performance across all online channels as well as all Estee Lauder Companies’ brands. This role reports to the Director of Finance, Strategy and Analytics, and will work closely with business partners including ecommerce leads of Regions, Global Brand teams, Online Strategy, Digital Operations, Digital Technology and Innovation. Working closely with these partners, key responsibilities include:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accelerate analytics and insights into ecommerce performance and decision- making (e.g. Category/SKU Performance, website merchandising effectiveness analysis, Advertising spend effectiveness)

    • Support the Long Range Plan and Annual Budget process for Global Online with in-depth understanding of brand performance across regions

    • Build and manage frameworks, analyses and tools to enhance financial planning & post-analysis capabilities; Track performance against Annual Plan

    • Support investment decision analyses for new ecommerce business models; Utilize NPV/DCF/ROI analyses to evaluate programs, opportunities and cost savings initiatives

    • Enhance driver-based forecasting financial analytic tools to pair financial performance with KPIs (e.g. traffic, conversion); Support financial planning capabilities by incorporating online KPIs in financial analysis and working with business partners

    • Build presentations for Senior Management that include business performance, market assessments, competitive reviews, and other industry and business related insights and summaries

    • Challenge the status quo and seek continuous incremental improvements on existing processes throughout the organization

    • Develop analytics and insights dashboards to optimize investment decisions

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of financial planning and analysis, investment banking or management consulting experience

    • Undergraduate degree in finance or economics is preferred; MBA a plus

    • Demonstrated ability to transform vast amounts of data into analytics, insights and action

    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

    • Strong ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

    • Ability to thrive in a matrix organization and work well on cross-functional teams

    • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint skills required

    • Ecommerce, retail or consumer goods industry experience, preferred

    • Experience in financial reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion & SAP), e-commerce database (e.g,, Google Analytics) and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus

    U.S. CORPORATE/OFFICE EXEMPT ROLES (NON-EQUITY ELIGIBLE)

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $133,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
