  • Responsibilities

    Provide finance and accounting support to Global Functions including development of Annual Budget, Long Range Plan, Estimate and Accounting Close. At the Manager level this includes direct support of specifically assigned functions and processes, managing and guiding the staff on their assigned responsibilities, development and implementation of tools/applications in support of continuous improvements; automate, improve and make processes efficient. Responsible for overseeing the allocation process throughout the planning cycle, providing insight to Senior management, brands and functions. Also includes direct interaction senior executives and senior finance executives. This position is based in Melville, NY and will require travel to NYC at least 2 times a month

    • For assigned functions
      • Liaison, develop, coordinate and fully understand the annual budget and long range plan
      • Facilitate, execute estimate and closing processes including providing visibility to transactions, analysis of results and comprehensive reporting
    • Act as a liaison to dedicated Functional Finance Leads as assigned for annual budget, long range plan, estimate and closing
      • Ensure they understand and adhere to deadlines and processes
      • Provide guidance and support as required and understand challenges, issues and positions to be represented to Senior Management
    • Collect Allocation Factors, calculate the impact, analyze data and provide analyses for senior management. Act as liaison between the Brands and Functional groups to ensure there is alignment and transparency of those charges.
    • Adherence and enforcement of US GAAP, corporate policies and SOX compliance.
    • In conjunction with team members, provide for continuous improvement in processes ensuring proper controls and realization of efficiencies.
    • Will require interaction with senior level executives.
    • Liaison with internal and external auditors on quarterly and annual audits.
    • Supervise preparation and provide detail review of quarterly reports (Monthly Performance Review, Budget Presentation Package, etc.) provided to Senior Management for Individual and Total Functional Reporting.
    • Develop, monitor and report Functional metrics and KPIs providing analysis and insights, as applicable.
    • Primary liaison with OneSource and GenPact.
    • Prepare ad-hoc analysis as requested.
    • Special projects.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, Masters a plus.
    • 5+ years of Finance, process reengineering and project management.
    • Excellent analytical capabilities to translate data into Executive level insights and metrics.
    • Advanced Excel, SAP, CPM (Smartview) skills a must.
    • Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence others.
    • Ability to work/analyze/build efficient analyses and reports.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required, including direct interaction with Senior Management.
    • Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and multitask.
    • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs and direction of Senior Management.
    • Excellent organization, writing and listening skills

    U.S. Corporate/Office Exempt Roles

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $133,00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
