Manager, Global Pro Artist Relations & Fashion Collections
POSITION SUMMARY:
Representing the image, product and culture of the MAC brand, develop and foster relationships within the professional artistry and fashion community and leverage those relationships for various MAC Activity. Develop strategies and playbooks for various AR activities and collaborate closely with cross-functional Global team to develop engagement, enabling facilitation of activations driving awareness and content for the brand. Build MAC Pro Membership through partners and Pro activity. Manage all aspects of the Fashion Week program including: show and key artist confirmation, M·A·C artist participation, financial management, backstage management, product logistics and fashion week assets. Work with cross-functional partners to identify required assets and support social media and PR strategies.
GLOBAL
Develop and implement approved International Artist Relations guidelines and collaborate with International markets as required
Manage monthly communication with markets to assist with training and sharing best practices in all areas of Artist Relations, Fashion Relations and MAC Pro
Liaise and collaborate with local markets to provide support at fashion events (award shows and festivals) and fashion weeks on a global basis
Work on show selection; reach out to label and production contacts to confirm show support, send support contracts, gather all show & test details and work on contracts following our ELC legal policies and approval process.
Reach out to agents to confirm key artists at Fashion week and send key artist contracts; confirm all show & test details.
Assist with the scheduling of artists on shows and tests; proofing schedules for quality and errors; timely communication of schedules to artists including call time changes, etc.
Work with Pro Artist Relations Associate to oversee the master list of freelance artists; communicate with freelancers who contact us about working at fashion week; oversee the booking and paying of freelance assistants for shows
Communicate with AT&D and retail managers about retail artists’ skill sets and availability, oversee the collecting of booking and payment of retail artists for shows and events; oversee the selection of ‘Retail
Oversee the recruiting, training and participation of backstage managers to ensure a smooth and professional backstage environment
Oversee Milan and Paris Branding Assistant, ordering and shipping of Collateral Branding Materials
Participate with other departments where appropriate in the coordination of fashion week assets including Photography, Social Media & Face Charts
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING / BRANDING
Foster relationships with key stakeholders in Fashion, TV, Film, Editorial, Theatre, Performing Arts, Music and Award Shows and leverage for MAC business needs
Pursue credits, social media posts, press and other opportunities that drive awareness of AR activity and support through negotiations with collaborative partners and obtaining Legal approvals whenever required
Work with Executive Director and Director to plan and execute unique event offerings catering to the professional community
Identify partnership or participation opportunities with trade shows, festivals and fashion weeks
Drive Pro membership acquisition through relationships, trade shows and various activations
VISIBILITY
Create 360 support plans to maximize Social Media, PR, E-Commerce and Events beyond the PRO consumer
Work cross functionally to share AR activity and identify opportunities
ADMINISTRATIVE
Communicate Artist Relations successes for business reporting purposes and recaps as required
Manage budgets for specific areas including No Charge Merchandise, T&E and any other approved areas
Manage contact lists and product distribution lists
Create Pro membership complimentary codes as required
Assist in budget management & tracking
Oversee creation of fashion week schedules

Knowledge of Fashion Designers and Fashion Weeks
Experience in production or fashion an asset, but not required
Independent, self-starter, well organized, detail oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
Strong analytical, written/oral communication and problem solving skills
Team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross functional teams
Ability to handle a broad range of responsibilities and projects with multiple individuals/teams
Proficiency and awareness of Social Media platforms
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to speak additional languages (Spanish, French, Italian) an asset, but not required
