    The NA Retail Planning Manager is an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial individual. This person will analytically and strategically support all store planning efforts for both FSS brands (KL/FM) as well as CCS brand with particular focus on management and execution of optimal deployment of inventory for all the Corporate Sales Free Standing Stores in North America. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) timely allocation of saleable and non-saleable products, new store assortment and obsolescence planning, field communications and contact, inventory analysis and order processing.

    This role will be highly collaborative; working across functional teams including (but not limited to) supply chain, marketing, retail and DC operations, demand planning, information technology. The goal of the role is to ensure optimal deployment of excess and returns inventory at stores to drive sales while reducing excess at DCs.

    The role will report into the NA replenishment team based in NYC with tight collaboration with the Corporate Sales brand, field and downstream supply chain functions. The NA Retail Planning Manager will be responsible for identifying and proposing new ideas that drive the business or improve efficiencies. The planner will also need to ensure all documentation of processes remains updated for easy knowledge transfer to colleagues and other brands.

    CCS Allocation, Replenishment & Order Execution 30%

    · Develop and assess allocation strategies and order execution required to achieve store operational sales targets for all sellable and non-sellable product

    · Monitor all store inventory position in relation to sales trends, including key selling periods like Holiday

    · Support exceptional planning to support target WOS

    · Forecast and replenish key hero products in alignment with penetration targets

    · Maintain assortment plans and routine replenishment for employee stores

    · Develop and execute assortment and allocation strategies to support sales targets and visual merchandising requirements for Beautihaul sampling program

    · Develop brand and category assortment plans for new store launch orders

    · Partner with marketing to support promotional plans with timely order execution.

    FSS Inventory Management & Order Execution/Replenishment 25%

    · Weekly review/analysis of service levels, investigate as required to determine root cause and recommend solutions

    · Manage replenishment parameters for Aveda and support replenishment optimization

    · Review Estee Central for store callouts, initiating stock transfers as needed

    · Perform ad hoc Sales & Inventory analysis

    · Develop and assess allocation strategies and order execution required to achieve store operational sales targets for all sellable and non-sellable product

    · Monitor all store inventory position in relation to sales trends, including key selling periods like Holiday

    · Support exceptional planning to support target WOS

    · Forecast and replenish key hero products in alignment with penetration targets

    · Maintain assortment plans and routine replenishment for employee stores

    · Develop and execute assortment and allocation strategies to support sales targets and visual merchandising requirements for Beautihaul sampling program

    · Develop brand and category assortment plans for new store launch orders

    · Partner with marketing to support promotional plans with timely order execution.

    Forecasting & Reconciliation 20%

    · Process owner for forecasting and reconciliation across FSS branded teams and Demand Planning ensuring alignment with Brand LE vs FSS trend

    · Create & present IBP slides monthly in NA IBP meetings for FSS channel

    · Working closely with Marketing & Demand Planning to ensure FSS sales forecasts are aligned with promotions

    · Quarterly category review (internal and with brand leadership) ensure forecast trend and mob are aligned

    · Quarterly WFA review and improvements (Basic + Launch)

    · Manage launch item forecasting and replenishment

    · Review forecast exceptions: by category, franchise, hero, SKU, country

    · Drive monthly collaboration meetings with the brand and cross functional teams to ensure correct sales drivers

    · Drive quarterly update meetings with branded General Manager

    · Present at corporate meetings on FSS inventory position, key initiatives, etc…

    · Drive seasonal Planning meetings with brand team

    · System (JustEnough) setup for all promotions, forecasting adjustments, replenishment parameter updates

    Operations 10%

    · Work with the DCs to project workflow planning and timely execution of orders

    · Coordinate movement of exceptional collections from FSS to CCS (for example MAC licensing product)

    · Support annual physical inventory and monthly cycle counts

    · Identify opportunities to enhance systems and processes to optimize results and partner with GIS to execute

    **Reporting & Analytics 10% **

    · Highlight opportunities for sales penetration and partner with supply chain for release of excess inventory

    · Develop and maintain routine end of lifecycle management for store and DC inventory

    · Recommendations for assortment edits

    · Communicate & organize SRP /SKU edits, timing of disco and RTV requirements due to new season's assortment

    · Ensure JE has the right SKU/Door set up

    Continuous Process & System Improvements 5%

    · Drive internal system and process improvements to drive the business better

    · Work with the business to ensure history is cleansed and the correct data are captured

    · Drive cross functional process improvements related to EC inventory, sales forecasting

    · System testing for JustEnough and Qlikview enhancements / issues as required

    Overall, take part and initiate strategic projects to improve any of the areas above.

    Qualifications

    • Self-starter and ability to work independently

    • Fast learner

    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to quickly re-prioritize while still meeting deadlines

    • Ability to analyze and review large amount of data in Excel or MS Access

    • Collaboration across functional and regional teams

    • Ability to succinctly summarize analysis results and recommend solutions for optimizing systems and processes

    • Strong math and analytical skills

    • Strong understanding of allocation and replenishment systems and parameters (safety stock, lead time,review cycle, etc.)

    • Strong communication skills

    • Knowledge of inventory models and metrics

    • Deep understanding of retail planning and inventory management needs

    • Prior experience using forecasting and replenishment systems such as JDA, JustEnough, SAP, I2

    Understanding of retail store operations and planning processes

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
