Global Deployment Planner & Inventory Manager is an individual contributor role and a team leader. The role will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for inventory deployment from global to regional hubs and direct affiliates
Responsible for executional horizon strategic allocations
Accountable for inventory deployment prioritization [inventory balancing] from global to regional/affiliate hubs in response to demand and supply disruption in executional horizon
Accountable for inventory levels and fill rate at the hub by owning the inventory parameters
Responsible for managing communication between production planning, brands, CRSM, traffic, warehousing, QA, …
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining proper inventory to fulfill demand requirements, at category, brand and SKU levels.
Requires frequent collaboration with functional leads from SRP, Brand Management in regards to supply constraints
Collaborate with and make recommendations to cross-functional teams on inventory optimizations and inventory targets
Responsible for critical demand-supply risks [via smart alerts and advanced planning inputs] in the short-term executional horizon, mitigating supply shortfalls with active management of inventory across nodes in the supply network
Plan deployment parameters and run scenarios to optimize costs and fill rates
Monitor inventory deployment and strategically recommend expedited shipment requirements
Manage master and transactional data as global plan inputs, in collaboration with cross-functional planning
Responsible for reporting health of global DRP plan and attainment to global planning leadership
Responsible for management and oversight of key performance indicators based on global fill rate & inventory optimization and cost reduction
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field (minimum)
Minimum 4 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in material scheduling, supply planning, sourcing / purchasing and supplier management within the beauty / cosmetic industry
Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and inventory management tools (e.g., SAP, Advanced Planning Systems, etc.)
Expert knowledge in distribution and inventory management techniques, processes and policies
Capabilities:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to successfully manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously

Strong understanding of supply base, industry trends, and product knowledge
Strong leadership skills, ability to manage a team
Ability to translate strategic vision into tactically executed actions
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Operations Research or related field; Master’s preferred
Minimum 2 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in distribution, warehousing, inventory management and supply planning in the beauty / cosmetic industry
Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and inventory management tools (e.g., SAP, Advanced Planning Systems, etc.)
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $133,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
