  • Responsibilities

    He/She holds primary accountability for executing the marketing plan, ensuring product availability, designing local activities and assets for product growth while protecting the brand image and monitoring the respective expenses. Monitors and implements the sales forecast & the plans for the Brand products. This includes product selection, promotions, positioning, and merchandising. Effectively orchestrates the maintenance of the existing line and initiates and executes programs to support new products.  Ensures, coordinates and follows-up on field execution.  Evaluates results and provides feedback to the marketing manager.

    The Product Marketing Executive of the brand:

    •Manages the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

    •Defines product pricing and SKU strategies concerning products new launches

    •Orders visual merchandising items per door to ensure the right promotion materials for the new and catalogue

    •Communicates new launches and product pricing to Corporate Sales Field Force and Retailers

    •Hosts seasonal presentations for sales meetings concerning new products and sales analysis

    •Assists with the development of annual budget of the brand

    •Is Responsible for preparing product forecasts and constantly monitoring inventory levels in order to ensure accuracy. Works closely with supply chain to ensure the marketing calendar and plan.

    •Monitors and analyzes sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity for monthly and yearly reports

    •Develops commercial activities by providing sales volumes, trends and competitive activity

    •Is responsible for Pricelist concerning saleable items and testers, according to ABC Line up and company’s pricing strategy.

    •Is responsible for product testers, merchandising items                              

    EXTENSIVE LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

    PRODUCT / PRICING / NEW LAUNCHES:

    1.Manages the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

    2.Defines product pricing and SKU strategies concerning products new launches

    3.Makes product assortment and pricing proposals 

    4.Responsible for Pricelist concerning saleable items and testers, according to ABC Line up and company’s pricing strategy

    5.Assists countries with new launches forecasts & pricing

    6.Hosts seasonal presentations for sales meetings concerning new products, sales analysis (hero franchises & key categories) and market share trends

    FORECASTING / INVENTORY

    1.Responsible for preparing product forecasts, using all of the DP tools and constantly monitoring inventory levels in order to ensure accuracy. Works closely with supply chain to ensure the marketing calendar and plan.

    2.Oversees forecasts to ensure planning accuracy and appropriate inventory levels

    3.Responsible for monitoring saleable & non-saleable inventory levels, reduction of excess & taking action on expiry

    4.Monitors and analyzes sales volumes, trends and competitive activity for monthly and yearly reports                  

    PROMOTIONS / MARKETING PLANNING

    1.Develops commercial activities by providing sales volumes

    2.Ensures strong execution of marketing plans/calendars and major launches

    3.Orders product, promotional items

    4.GWPs & Samples planning & execution   

    5.Preparation of Marketing Calendar presentation for Sales Dept.   

                                                                                                             

    NEW DOORS

    1.Manages and follows-up operational procedures associated with new door openings / market launches, ensuring on-time project completion

     

    EXPENSES / BUDGETS

    1.Assists with the development of annual budget of the brand

    2.Creation of Shopping Carts & monitoring of expenses

    GENERAL:

    1.Ensures proper coordination and implementation of programs, to raise potential issues or conflicts for resolution. Tracks and meets timetable

    2.Effectively handles daily ad-hoc issues on a timely manner

    3.Partners and/or coordinates processes among other functions to deliver marketing plans / projects

    QUALIFICATIONS

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field is required

    • A Master's degree in Marketing or relevant field will be considered an asset

    • Excellent use of English language

    • Excellent MS Office user

    • Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably in the cosmetics

      PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

    • Good at report preparations and data analysis work

    • Ability to identify critical concerns, prioritize and handle multiple projects

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Problem solving abilities; Handle difficult tense situations with diplomacy and tact.

    • Ability to work calmly under pressure
