    The Digital Technology & Engineering team is looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for the vision and implementation of the user experience for our products.

     

    You will lead the creation of user-centered designs by closely partnering with ELC brand stakeholders, product managers, and engineers. You will create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups driven by business requirements, and user feedback. You will translate requirements into style guides, design systems, and design patterns to create accessible, modern and delightful user experiences.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    SKILLS

    As a Lead UI/UX Designer, you have:

    • Exceptional UI/UX design skills
    • Strong ideation, sketching, wireframing, user flows, mapping and information architecture skills
    • In depth knowledge of iOS, Android, and responsive web design patterns
    • UI/UX accessible design best practices 
    • Excellent visual, written, verbal, and storytelling skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to influence, lead and inspire cross disciplinary teams
    • Strong research, problem solving and analytical thinking
    • Superb user empathy
    • Fluency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or InVision

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • As a Lead UI/UX Designer, you have:
    • 8+ years of UI/UX design experience in progressively more senior roles
    • Proven experience creating B2C consumer-facing mobile and web products within an Agile development methodology; ecommerce experienced preferred
    • Experience with luxury, beauty, retail or lifestyle preferred
    • A track record of managing and coaching UI/UX designers at various levels
    • Passion for conceiving, creating, and designing useful innovative products
    • Extreme attention to details and deep commitment to the discipline
    • UI/UX design portfolio
    • Bachelor's degree
