    The SR. DIRECTOR, GLOBAL OMNI-CHANNEL FULFILLMENT role will be part of our Global Distribution and Logistics Center of Excellence, and can be based in either Switzerland, Belgium, UK, US, or Singapore.

     This position is a hands-on role which will require the ability to execute the Global DTC Distribution innovation and strategy roadmap, through influencing change in a global matrix environment.

     

    The job holder will have the following main responsibilities:

    • In partnership with regional distribution, drive innovation and transformation within Online / DTC Distribution, including strategy of whether to in-source of use 3PL’s for B2C Distribution, B2C Distribution technology advances, supplier innovations & trends, and changing consumer expectations for B2C logistics.

    • Distribution KPI’s for the company's top DC’s: implement a data-driven culture supported by cost, service, and operational metrics with related action plans focused on enhancing consumer satisfaction and business performance.

    • Lead Phase 2 of our B2B ECom project management: manage ongoing enhancements and customer adoption with regional partners and stakeholder groups.

    • Peak Period – Holiday shopping events: E2E planning & execution, post event hindsight reviews. Create prioritization roadmap of critical improvements: design DC surge capacity strategy including pop-in vs pop-out DC option to gain incremental surge capacity in peak periods, redesign of flex labour models & reward infrastructure, technology BCP requirements, Last Mile courier solutions, overall event preparation timeline and recommendations on event health tracking and communication.

    • DTC / Online Fulfillment & delivery capacity expansion, online/offline optimization.

    • Tertiary packaging improvements: sustainability options, right size fit for products, reusable and damage free.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    We are looking for someone who brings the following:

    • Minimum 10 years' experience in B2C or DTC Distribution preferable in FMCG / Consumer Electronics or Luxury products industry
    • Multi-region distribution experience with channel customers (3rd party players, Pure Players, .com), as well as 3PL management experience
    • Project Management experience working on Global Distribution projects
    • Deep professional understanding of Distribution best practices globally, including intra DC inventory optimization, omnichannel, ship-from store, DC network set-ups and modeling, along with good experience within the E2E Supply Chain
    • Experience developing Distribution capabilities that can be designed centrally and deployed regionally to drive continuous improvement.  Distribution and logistics experience with a deep understanding of local ecommerce fulfillment approaches and third-party platforms
    • Experience partnering with technology teams to design and deploy Distribution solutions
    • Excellent communication skills and highly collaborative leadership style that inspires others when providing cross-functional leadership
    • Analytical and strategic thinker who makes fact-based decisions and prioritizes accordingly
    • Committed to the success of others, intellectually curious, and has a passion for continuous learning
