    POSITION SUMMARY

    This role will ensure that the Quality of the Finished Products is maintained all the way to the consumer, in accordance with company Quality requirements and applicable regulations. The jobholder will direct, plan and coordinate the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) in the Kitescroft Distribution and Fulfillment Centers and will lead the Quality Improvement Processes within the Distribution Center. This position will serves as key contact within the UK region in quality concerns in matters related to stock, rework, returns and holds in all the warehouses.

    KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Leadership (30%): 

    • Ensures that company goals are achieved within the UK/Ireland Region and supports the long-term vision of Quality for Distribution
    • Leads alignment with internal departments (Planning, Operations, Customer Services, Regulatory and ME) and colleagues from other EL plants and Global QA concerning stock status, holds and reworks of Kitescroft stored items
    • Represents the QA organization in supporting Site Lead Management on Management Reviews as responsible for Quality Metrics within the Distribution Center.
    • Execute self-evaluations based on GMP/GDP regulations in the Distribution Centers.

    Independence and Accountability (30%):

    • Takes independent decisions related to the team in QA matters 
    • Leads Projects for local deployment of the Downstream Quality Strategy. 
    • Ensures quality training is in place, respecting ELC requirements and systems are rolled out within the Region
    • Assist in recall activities when applicable
    • Quality Key point of contact for new DC design and acquisitions.

    Decision making/Compliance (30%):

    • Ensure GMP and GDP compliance and implementation of QA processes in all the Distribution Centers
    • Establishes GMP process for re-work, Value Added Services and Late Stage Differentiation by setting QA standards to define disposition of products.
    • Establishes the Quality Management systems for the Distribution Centers and implemented documentation management systems, training management systems enabling the maintenance of appropriate records and quality documentation related to storage and shipment.
    • Key contact for corporate quality audits and external inspections.
    • Ensures the creation, maintenance and optimization of procedures, instructions, forms in line with corporate and local applicable procedures

    Problem Solving (10%):

    • Executes self-evaluations based on GMP and GDP regulations in the Distribution Centers. 
    • Management of non-conformances noticed on products stored in Distribution Center.
    • Coordinates inspections on potential issues of all finished goods, reports results & participates in decision taking. 
    • Ensure sampling process is managed appropriately in cases of quality defects and further investigations.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

    Degree in Chemistry, Quality or Logistics. Leadership skills / decision taker/thinks strategically/initiator/sense of responsibility/broad minded 5 to 8 years of work experience in Quality assurance with cosmetic, food or pharmaceutical products or other regulated industries. Communication Skills / presentation skills / Training skills Previous People Management Experience Knowledge of GMP & GDP regulations including internal auditing skills and applicable Cosmetics/OTC regulations Project management and Risk Management skills. Ability to build up relationships within other DC’s, ELC Global functions, Customers and External Partners. Problem solving and facilitation skills. English and German proficiency level required
