  • Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for supply planning and inventory management for a cluster of brands in the UK Region including service delivery, inventory optimisation, and supply chain analytics and reporting. Develop & maintain collaborative relationships with all internal functions and business partners to support and deliver the branded commercial objectives. Identify & realize system and process enhancements.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONISBILITIES:

    •    Responsible for managing and continuously improving the plan and delivery of finished goods supply from manufacturing locations to the UKDC •    Effectively collaborates with Demand Planning, brands and Global Supply planning to generate balanced supply plans based on agreed objectives and operating guidelines via the IBP process. •    Responsible for achieving Customer Services / Fill Rates and Days of Supply Inventory targets using Noodle AI and o9. Regularly reviews with COE teams (GNPO &GIPO) to optimize the regional supply planning parameters in the system and to interface with other region’s Supply Planning and Operations to support the UK service level and retailer objectives •    Responsible for defining tactics and action plans in order to achieve the regional inventory and service level KPI’s. Conducts monthly inventory reviews with the commercial teams to optimize inventory and prevent excess. Additionally, responsible for publishing regional reports and initiatives to manage excess levels. •    Collaboratively develop strategic regional allocations, supply commits and plan for the operational horizon based on o9 MPS / DRP solves  •    Coordinate the Monthly launch and event planning and execution process, pro-actively managing and communicating risks •    Manage Christmas programme planning and execution •    Support process integration with the Demand Planning, Retail Supply Chain and Distribution & Logistics functions  •    Drive core elements of the IBP process evolution •    Assertively escalate and clearly communicate issues, as well as developing, driving and implementing resolution  •    Team management and development  •    Talent development, succession planning and recruitment •    Manage and execute wider supply chain projects

    QUALIFICATIONS

    QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS / ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES

    •    Educated to degree level or equivalent  •    Strong quantitative and analytical skills •    Attention to detail & high levels of accuracy •    Experience of managing a team  •    Advanced user skills of Excel and SAP BI  •    Advanced systems competency with particular need for SAP SCM/ECC & APO  •    Ability to interpret data and translate into insights and actions •    Confidence liaising with senior management and key stakeholders and making recommendations •    Proven project management skills •    Self-directed,  proactive and operates under general or minimum supervision
