    Summary of Position:

    We are looking for a Product Marketing Intern to work with our inspiring community of members on our private social media platform, Connect. The range of responsibilities will be shadowing and helping product managers to drive community management initiatives. Connect is a weight-loss community of over a million members who share their wins and losses, offer support and give advice online. Our members have said this is the “nicest community they’ve ever seen” and “I wish the whole internet was like Connect.”

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify, strategize, and implement campaigns that will improve overall engagement in Connect
    • Identify opportunities where Connect can align with overall business and mission
    • Work closely with stakeholders to lead Connect influencer collaborations for marketing initiatives
    • Work closely with customer care on community management incidents and help outline and drive decisions.
    • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost Connect awareness
    • Grow the size of our group’s offering through collaborating with our science & brand team
    • Strategize ways to keep members engaged in groups through pinned posts with challenges or other relevant information.
    • Monitor community and provide insights to marketing and product teams
    • Monitor social media to provide insights on the latest trends
  • Qualifications

    Skills/Requirements:

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program
    • Students must have a graduation date between December 2020 and June 2021
    • Students must have a cumulative GPA in their major of 3.0 or higher
    • Strong presence on social media through demonstrating an ability to create content on social media that is engaging
    • A simple, friendly and authentic way of writing and speaking.
    • Passion for Weight Watchers, strong team player, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
