Enterprise Resiliency Internship (Undergraduate & Graduate)

Our internship experience is a 10-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 31st, 2023 and concludes on August 11th, 2023.

About The Enterprise Resiliency Team:
We prepare, coordinate the response and recovery of CVS Health from disruptions.
Intern Role:
Support subject matter experts in Enterprise Resiliency on completing projects and task specific to business continuity planning, incident monitoring and response, severe weather analysis and Community Disaster Response.
Responsibilities include:
Gain intermediate proficiency with Geospatial Software such as ArcGIS, Everbridge and Business Continuity Software such as BCIC
Complete Incident Command System Trainings 100, 200 and 300
Gain intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint
Conduct all hazards weather analysis to create predictive models for preparing CVS assets for hurricane season
Document best practices for virtual operations centers
Shadow and learn from Incident Coordinator or a Business Continuity Manager on how to manage a coordination call, send out appropriate notifications and learn the skillsets necessary to become an Incident Coordinator or Business Continuity Planner
Support business continuity plan development
There are opportunities to intern with either Business Continuity or Crisis Management for this role.
Interns will have opportunities to support business continuity, crisis management, or resiliency operations/incident coordination
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
PAY RANGE
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 17.00
Maximum: 27.16
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Geospacial mapping and/or coding experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Public speaking/Communication
Excellent oral and written communication skills; has the ability to lead meetings
Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
Strong problem solving skills
Strong customer service skills
Being cool and thriving under pressure situations
EDUCATION
You must meet the follow qualifications:
Be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Masters degree
Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2023 and August 2024
Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position. Examples include: Emergency Management, Disaster Management, Public Administration, Business Operations, Organizational Resilience, Business Continuity & Risk Management, and Homeland Security.
