IT UX Product Designer Internship (Graduate)
JOB DESCRIPTION
This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 31st, 2023 and will end on August 11th, 2023.
Locations: IL-Buffalo Grove; TX-Richardson; AZ-Scottsdale
This program has positions available at multiple work office locations across the country. In the UX Designer internship, you will have the opportunity to:
Function as a UX Product Designer ensuring product success and end-user satisfaction in a highly collaborative environment that follows the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology
Take a user-centered approach to design in finding the right solution for users as part of a small, cross-functional product team
Help educate both business and technology teams on the XP process and how the traditional UX role changes, as well as lead products from discovery through iterative delivery
Stay up-to-date on UX/UI design industry best practices and trends
PAY RANGE
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 18.50
Maximum: 33.65
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Meet educational requirements (see education section)
1+ years’ professional experience as a UX Architect, UX Designer, or Product Designer role
1+ years’ experience in at least one of the 3 design areas of expertise: user research, user experience design or interaction design
1+ years of working effectively with Agile and lean philosophies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Internship or work experience in related field such as business or healthcare
Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
Experience with UX design advocacy within large business and technology organizations
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
EDUCATION
You should currently be pursuing a Masters level degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Fine Arts, User Experience Design, or a related field
Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2023 and August 2024
