Internship Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (Facilities & Maintenance)

What is special about this team:

Amway’s Asset Management Team is responsible for transforming business processes to align with industry best practices within the Maintenance and Reliability spaces. The team leverages world-class Enterprise Asset Management technology to support our manufacturing, distribution, and facilities. The team supports sites in Michigan, California, Washington, and India.

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success:

This position will be responsible for developing insights by extracting data from a variety of sources and analyzing this data to uncover opportunities to improve our responsiveness and utilization of resources.

An example of a typical project is:

The team is actively building a data lake for our asset management system. Once this is stood up, we will connect to the data with our ETL tools. This will give us the ability to build workflows to transform the data into meaningful insights. Projects will consist of developing Key Performance Indicators related to Cost, Service, Quality, and Safety, which will ultimately feed into a Control Tower that provides near real-time visibility to performance.
