    Internship Job Title: Intern- Manufacturing Engineering NSP

    *NOTE: Internship is for Summer of 2023

    *You must be enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PHD Degree program at the time of the internship.

    *This role is also not eligible for continued sponsorship.

    What is special about this team: The Nutrilite Spaulding plant has departments focused in soft gel mixing & encapsulation, tablet blending & compression and various forms of tablet/powder packaging. The Spaulding plant is currently experiencing growth through transformational projects that will help shape the future of Nutrilite. The plant has a unique culture that is focused on giving Technician’s ownership of their processes to drive results and develop themselves.

    How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: This position will take ownership of a project on the Manufacturing floor that will deliver results benefiting the Nutrilite business and Technicians. The intern will be empowered to lead a team of individuals, interact with cross functional partners, implement recommended solutions, and learn about regulated Manufacturing and Engineering operations. The intern will present results of the project at the end of the internship and recommend next steps to continuously improve and sustain results.

    An example of a typical project is: The project will be focused on scrap, quality or production issues that impact the operation’s financial or quality metrics. This position will have the opportunity to work with cross functional partners to understand the holistic Supply Chain impact of the project and develop a well-rounded solution. A successful project will involve assessment of the current state, development, recommendation then implementation of improvements and evaluation of results to determine value delivered and recommended next steps.

    Desired Skills: Ability to work in fast paced environment, active listener, strong communication skills, technical ability or desire, determined and team-building skills.

    Desired Degree: Engineering or Supply Chain focused

    Work Type: In-person, Monday-Friday, 1st shift
