Position Summary
Our Internal Audit internship experience is an 11-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 26th, 2026, and concludes on August 7th, 2026.
This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in office with the other 2 days each week working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.
Job Locations (Locations may be updated closer to start date based on availability): Cumberland, RI; Hartford, CT; Northbrook, IL; Scottsdale, AZ. No housing or housing stipend will be provided, but interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired.
The hourly rate is $25/hr with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
About this Business Area:
CVS Health’s Internal Audit Department serves the Audit Committee and assists management in achieving goals by conducting independent
and objective assurance and consulting activities.
You will work on:
The execution of audits alongside a team of experienced auditors, gaining exposure to the various components of the audit lifecycle including:
• Perform and document audit activities in accordance with professional standards and the organization’s audit methodology
• Execute testing and create work paper documentation
• Meeting with colleagues throughout the enterprise to understand and document business processes under audit
• Perform detail testing as defined by the test program to define, analyze, and validate information
Audit Team Support:
• Demonstrate a commitment to integrity and the company code of conduct, and a respect for diversity and inclusion
• Contribute to overall Internal Audit Department team norms to promote a positive environment and improve team effectiveness

• Have experience with Microsoft excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions.

• Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
Education
• Anticipated completion of bachelor’s degree program between December 2026 and June 2027 or equivalent experience. Master’s students completing 3+1 or 4+1 programs (a Master’s/MBA program immediately following your bachelor’s degree) may be considered.
• Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position. Examples include: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration & Management, Risk Management, and Health Services
