    The Machine Learning Engineering Graduate internship experience is an 10.5 weeks full-time opportunity that starts on May 27th, 2026, and concludes on August 7th, 2026. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the New York, NY; Hartford, CT; Irving, TX or Wellesley, MA office location. The other 2 days each week may be worked remotely from home, another location, or you’re welcome to be in the office on those days as well.

    The hourly rate is $55/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health.

    Sponsorship:

    Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

    Relocation:

    CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that need to move over 50 miles.

    What You’ll Do:

    This graduate-level internship offers hands-on experience with advanced machine learning engineering projects, mentorship, and exposure to enterprise-scale analytics. You’ll work on initiatives that require deeper technical expertise and strategic thinking, including:

    • Designing and implementing scalable ML solutions across the model lifecycle
    • Developing and optimizing ML pipelines for training, inference, and deployment
    • Collaborating with data science and engineering teams to integrate models into production workflows
    • Leveraging ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn) to build and refine models
    • Deploying ML solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other cloud environments
    • Applying Agile/SAFe methodologies and contributing to architecture-level discussions

    Required Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree with expected graduation between Dec 2026 – June 2027

    Experience with:

    • Python and version control (Git)
    • Machine learning techniques: supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning
    • ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow
    • Data preprocessing and feature engineering for large datasets
    • Cloud platforms (GCP preferred)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience highly preferred
    • Familiarity with MLOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, drift monitoring)
    • Knowledge of advanced ML applications: NLP, time series, anomaly detection, computer vision, generative AI
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

    Education:

    • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree with expected graduation between Dec 2026 – June 2027
    • Preferred majors: Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $55.00 - $55.00
