Description

• Administers and manages Policies and Procedures put forth by Physicians.
• Oversees (supervises, plans and directs) daily operations of the practice, such as patient schedules, daily/weekly staffing needs, physicians schedules.
• Oversees and reviews all invoices and billing statements before forwarding them to accounts payable.Ensures all charges are captured, AR preparation and follow up
• Ensures that office is staffed appropriately, completes annual reviews of employees in concert with physicians, administers discipline when needed.
• Oversees and administer payroll, including approval of time off.
• Oversees office supply inventory.
• Maintains physician credentialing.
• Creates and maintains computer patient tracking system, education, and telephone triage.
• Conducts monthly meetings with non-provider staff, weekly with providers.
• Ensures the office is in regulatory compliance with state/federal agencies.

This is an unpaid intern with food and gas allowance. After 90 days will be eligible for hire with pay as long as attendance is and job performance is satisfactory.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare financial management and human resource management practices.
• Understanding and practice of EMR.
• Excellent interpersonal skill, written and verbal communication skills, ability to gather, analyze and interpret information.
• Ability to apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.
