How would an intern contribute to the team’s success:

The intern will utilize their technical expertise to collect, interpret, and provide insights into product data, thereby improving the Supply Chain’s ability to make educated data driven decisions. The intern will engage in collaborative coding, testing, and debugging with seasoned developers, directly impacting feature enhancements and bug resolution within our Supply Chain systems. Simultaneously, they will delve into pioneering technologies and development methodologies, leveraging their fresh insights to elevate our software products.

An example of a typical project would be:

Engineering team projects are focused on improving existing product information systems and implementing new technologies and processes to support the Supply Chain. Potential projects include enhancing Amway’s SKU assignment process, building ML models to improve the quality of product data within the Product Lifecycle Management system, and identifying new methods to connect disparate data between Supply Chain systems.

Required skills and background:

• Desired Major: Computer Science
• Desired Class Year: Sophomore
• Desired Skills: Web development experience, Relational database knowledge (SQL, Oracle), Strong communication skills, Python, Google Cloud Computer
