Hourly Range: $22.83-$37.10

Location: Ada, MI (Onsite or Hybrid)

What’s special about this team: Our team is focused heavily on software engineering. We are building Amway’s new commerce platform. This platform is AWS cloud-based, with domain-centric microservices using an advanced service mesh architecture.

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: An intern on our program will have the opportunity to leverage cutting edge technology and frameworks to deliver products used by Customers and Amway Business Owners all over the world. An intern will deliver full stack development using React and/or SpringBoot.

Examples of projects include:

• Delivering commerce search based on AWS OpenSearch
• Delivering commerce profile and account management
• Delivering commerce promotions setup and execution engine

Required skills and background:

• Desired Major: Computer Science
• Desired Class Year: Sophomore
• Desired Skills: Understanding software programing and ability to write computer code
  • Required:
    • Java or React JS
    • Data modeling
    • Basic knowledge of agile scrum
  • Optional:
    • SpringBoot, AWS CDK, DynamoDB, Postgres, and Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) cloud service mesh

Actual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set and class year.
