Your summer responsibilities will be to:

• Oversee a group of campers, with approximately 15-30 campers and 6-9 staff.

• Ensure that the campers are being well taken care of, both physically and emotionally.

• Encourage participation among campers in all activities.

• Develop meaningful connections with all campers.

• Provide ongoing and regular feedback to counselors.

• Create a fun, energetic, and unforgettable experience for campers, staff, and yourself.

*Additional positions may be available in aquatics, athletics, music, theater, outdoor adventure, and fine arts.

Camp Echo Lake is seeking dynamic, compassionate, and hard working staff to be leaders this summer

• Qualified applicants will have previous experience working with children in both one-on-one and group settings.

• Should be a self-starter and be able to independently make decisions.

• An academic background in education or child development is a bonus but is not required.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent as well as previous leadership/management experience is preferred.

• For aquatic, sport, art, and outdoor adventure instructors, at least 3 years of previous coaching experience is necessary; other certifications may also be required.

At Camp Echo Lake everything that we do is built upon a passionate dedication to human development. We are a 7-week, co-ed summer camp that works to foster personal growth in children while cultivating a fun, welcoming, and engaging community.

Echo Lake staff come from a wide range of life experiences and demographics, but all have the desire to work with children at camp!

Our staff love being part of our camp family and can’t get enough of Echo Lake, in fact each year many of our staff return to camp from the previous summer.
