• Lives in a cabin with a group of 10-13 children and 2 co-counselors.
• Provides quality swim instruction lessons to boys and girls aged 7-12.
• Lifeguard during open swims and at the lakefront.
• Will provide age-specific activities/drills that represent the age of the campers you are working with.
• To be a great role model to all campers you interact within your program area.
• Will be creative and innovative in keeping your program area fresh and exciting.
• Ability to wear 2 hats, when not instructing at the pool you will be fulfilling the cabin specialist role with your group of campers.
• Will be a Difference Maker!

• Certified Lifeguard with valid CPR/First Aid
• Certified Swim teacher - (not required as we can assist in certification)
• Experience Lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons. (lifeguard only positions are available so no teaching experience necessary

Iroquois Springs, located just 90 miles from New York City, is a co-ed residential camp in the Lower Catskill Mountains for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 16.
