We are a rapidly growing ed tech startup based in Boston that helps 9-12th grade students make the most of their high school experience. With over 200 employees, we offer mentorship, tutoring, test prep, and help with college applications.
Our summer interns work closely with our management team, gaining insight into both day-to-day decisions and long-term company strategy. By conducting research, developing products, and monitoring uptake, our interns learn firsthand what it takes to build a successful company.
As this year’s Product Development Intern, you will be responsible for generating new materials for our clients. You will work on existing projects and anticipate client needs by brainstorming new product ideas.
This is a full-time summer internship. Interns must commit 8-12 weeks of their summer to working for CollegeVine, and they must be willing to relocate to Boston for the summer. Start date is flexible.
Responsibilities Include:
Design and implement curriculum for CollegeVine's mentorship, test prep, and applications products
Coordinate with Sales Team to brainstorm new products
Draft project proposals
Design user interface
Conduct market research
Teaching background. Multi-lingual. Programming background. Familiarity with Excel.
CollegeVine is a near-peer mentorship and college advisory service staffed entirely by students at the nation's top universities. Founded three years ago by three high school friends (Harvard x2 and UChicago), CollegeVine annually works with thousands of students across 10 countries, and its results continue to help students achieve their dreams.
Admissions Hero offers tutoring, peer mentorship, and application advising services though one on one and one-to-many service offerings. Over the lifetime of its existence, it has generated numerous acceptances to every top 30 US University, with 84.7% of its clients gaining acceptance to a top 3 choice school and 76% of its clients gaining acceptance to an Ivy League or equivalent school. Additionally, its clients have on average been offered $120,000 in scholarships.
CollegeVine is perhaps most famous for its pro-bono program, in which it provides free advisory services to talented students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
