SUMMARY:
Come be a part of our internationally recognized Food Team as an intern. To be successful in this role, candidates should be comfortable running a computerized cash register, counting back change, and preparing food all while Creating Memories Worth Repeating® with our guests. You will gain valuable experience in all aspects of our Food Division while expanding your knowledge in culinary and hospitality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must wear a mask if not fully vaccinated according to the CDC Guidelines.
- Serve as a Food Host, PIC (Person in Charge) and Inventory Control Specialist in our Food Division
- Participate in Leadership and Safety meetings
- Learn about roles and responsibilities of leadership
- Learn scheduling and time keeping procedures
- Assist with written communication
- Learn the duties of Inventory Control
- Understanding the importance of how Inventory Control and other back of the house areas play a role in our success
- Ensures proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
- Complete one project in the Food division determined by management

Required Skills
- Must be enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 year College or University
- Able to project Silver Dollar City’s image by being genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in their work

Required Experience
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must be enrolled in an accredited college degree program in a related field. Must have basic computer skills with proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must be at least 16 years of age
