    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Involved in monthly close process, prepares and post journal entries
    • Market research - research PMPM restatements, point in time and retroactivity financial fluctuations
    • Complete disconnect research (Revenue No Membership; Membership No Revenue)
    • Assist with policy review accuracy for monthly process (Ex: Disconnect Policies)
    • Investigates non-standard requests including researching restricted off-shore policies and problems with some assistance from others

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field
    • 0-2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field
    • Basic level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Access
    • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
    • Communicates in an effective manner
    • Collaborates with peers to complete projects
    • Demonstrates the drive and motivation to deliver high quality results based on thorough analysis
    • Possesses sound business knowledge and strong decision making skills.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Accounting experience
