Responsible for timely and accurate payment to vendors while assuring compliance with Hospital policies and procedures and Federal regulations. Responsible for weekly processing of the Accounts Payable check run process. Responsible for ensuring all Accounts Payable interfaces balance including, but not limited to: Lawson and the Banking system. Responsible for maintaining Accounts Payable aging goals and ensuring interaction between Accounts Payable and Materials Management staff.

Required Skills

• PC experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and other office applications.
• Knowledgeable of accounting systems, accounts payable
• Experience with data retrieval and manipulation.

Required Experience

Work Experience

• Five (5) years' experience in accounts payable required.

Education and Training:

• High School graduate.
• Associates degree in business or related field preferred.
