    Job Description

    Accra is a non-profit organization offering the best in personalized, self-directed home care. Accra provides employee, client, and billing services for various programs including Personal Care Assistance (PCA) Choice, Fiscal Support Entity (FSE) and Home Health Agencies. We are located in Minnetonka and offer services in all of Minnesota’s 87 counties, with offices in Alexandria, Red Wing, Fergus Falls, Moorhead, Winona, Lake City, Duluth, Grand Rapids, Bemidji, and Brainerd. Accra is seeking a Human Resource Specialist

     

    General Description:

    The FMS HR Specialist will be responding for running background studies for FMS employees and vendors while providing excelling customer service for incoming phone calls and emails from employees, clients, families, and Accra Management Staff 

     

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Four year degree or 1 year of experience in a human resources or payroll field. Exposure to home health or human services is a plus 
    • Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes. Accra Care is looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is eager to learn and grow in the PCA Choice field.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES 

     

    • Provide excellent customer service for incoming phone calls and emails from employees, clients, families, and Accra Management Staff 
    • Run background studies for FMS employees and vendors  
    • Create employee applications 
    • Update and maintain employee files  
    • Compile New Hire Welcome Packets  
    • Administer Fingerprint system for applicants 
    • Run employee reports for file maintenance  
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
