    Older Child Adoption Case Worker -(DIV) Full Benefits -Overview Adoptions Together is a nonprofit child placement agency licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, whose mission is to build healthy, lifelong family connections for every child and to advocate for the continuous improvement of systems that promote the well-being of children. The Older Child Adoption Case Worker is responsible for recruiting and preparing families for the placement of children from public foster care.This position is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with the option to be located either in the Baltimore, MD or Calverton, MD offices of Adoptions Together.Some local work related travel will be required. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Family Science, Social Work, Human Services, Social Services, or a closely related field preferred. Minimum two years of professional experience required. Case management with child welfare experience, adoption or foster care experience is a plus. Preferred Skills Superior proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency in data entry and database operations. Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills to interface with clients, social workers and staff. Highly organized. Effective and accurate multi-tasking skills. Ability to think and work independently, prioritize, and problem solve. Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
