A Media Relations and Community Engagement Intern contributes to AHF's mission by working with the AHF Southern Bureau leadership team to support local media relations events and initiatives. The intern will assist with on-going media relations and developing/maintaining strong relationships with media outlets throughout AHFs 7 state region. Within a portion of their duties the intern will work closely with the Regional Director to pitch story ideas to the local media for AHF and the local affiliate. Additional responsibility includes working closely with the Regional Director and Associate Director of Marketing in developing internal and external communication mechanisms. The Communication and Community Engagement team will be enhanced by the Media Relations and Community Engagment Interns innovation to develop and design email marketing, newsletters, and e-blast campaigns etc. We encourage you to apply today if you are a team player, who is willing to take on new challenges and specific project assignments as deemed necessary.
