    Job Description

    Ajilon is currently recruiting for a Direct Hire Manager of Human Resources, to join a well established and growing HR Team, this position will report to the Director of HR.

    This role will partner and work together to help drive a high performance culture, assist with full cycle HR practices such as recruiting, onboarding, facilitate benefits programs, including workers compensation, enforce policies and any disciplinary programs, and employee engagement.

    Specific responsibilities (but not limited to), the following:

    WORK INJURY/WORKERS COMPENSATION

    • Working with Managers, and employees to investigate injury/accidents.
    • Working with W/C Clinic for new hire, post-accident and injury.
    • Working with W/C carrier for filing an following up on claims
    • Working with injured employees to make sure their care is going well, and no issues with their claims.

    PROCESSING NEW HIRES – INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Pre-employment drug screens
    • I9’s
    • New hire paperwork
    • Orientation

    DISCIPLINARY PROTOCOLS, CORRECTIVE ACTION.

    • Coordinating and participate in exit interviews.
    • Temp staffing, working with staffing agencies, filling orders, coordinating assessments for equipment operators.
    • Time and Attendance – ADP Work force will be a plus not a must
    • Work with payroll with the support of ADP.
    • Understand and facilitate to employees our benefits program to ensure understanding of all programs i.e. health, workers compensation, disabilities, and leaves.

    MUST HAVE: 

    • Bachelors degree in business. An emphasis in HR is a plus.
    • 5 years plus, experience working in Human Resources
    • Being fluent in Spanish is a must
    • Proven track record of managing benefits programs.
    • Experience in developing and managing performance management programs.
    • Experience recruiting exceptional talent and building teams
    • Experience with multiple levels of Local, State and Federal law compliance.
    • Experience working with a diverse employee base from a geographic, cultural and compensation range.
