    Job Description

    LOGISTICS CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

    Ajilon is partnering with a 3PL company with an office located in Tempe. This company is in search of a logistics customer service representative to join their team on a temp to hire basis. This position is in office, with a standard Monday-Friday schedule. 

    This position services internal and external customers by quoting, scheduling and tracking shipments to ensure on time performance and 100% customer satisfaction.

    RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Determine best method of shipment for customer satisfaction and efficiency.
    • Complete coordination on all shipments including preparation of all documentation, scheduling shipments with carriers, providing updates, obtaining POD’s and carrier charges, and performing all necessary data entry including billing accuracy.
    • Inputs orders into Transportation Management System (TMS) 
    • Tracks all shipments on a daily basis to ensure on time pickup and delivery.
    • Partner with carriers, dispatch/drivers, customers and teammates to resolve issues; coordinates all shipment activity.
    • Communicates via phone, email and or fax.
    • Provide quotes to customers or sales representatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • At least 2+ years of customer service experience-not in a call center setting preferably
    • Previous logistics industry experience is preferred!
    • Proficiency in all MS Office Suite
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work well as part of a team
