Are you looking for a full-time (REMOTE) opportunity? Ajilon is partnering with a mortgage company to search for an Underwriter. This is a DIRECT HIRE, FULL TIME remote position. To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Underwriter. TITLE: Underwriter
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
LOCATION: Remote (San Diego, CA)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Review and evaluate borrower profile based on company guidelines
· Review tax return documents, appraisals, bankruptcy documents, etc.
· Ensure consistent processes while determining accuracy and completeness of files.
· Must effectively communicate to internal team and borrower and obtain information needed to make credit lending decision.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED:
· At least four years of experience as an Underwriter.
· Experience with mortgage operating systems.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.

WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, +40 hours per week
